IB Diploma Migration debate

The motion to be debated next Tuesday morning is,

'Migration to the UK will only enhance its economic and social development'

2 teams then as before and I want you to conduct some real research into this issue. There is plenty of information on the web but a good starting point was an article in the Guardian newspaper this week :

It explains that migrants have been excellent for the UK economy.

It is an excellent case study for forced migration/refugee crisis involving Afghanistan. You do not have to complete all the acitivities on the web page. Have a look for a Word document which is half way down the page, save this to your computers and then complete the activities. You do not have to complete the question on the web page about Lee's model of migration. I would like it though if you can complete the extension activity at the bottom of the page.
